SCHEDULE
We're recruiting some of the best education technology start-up companies from across the country to engage in hands-on demonstrations of their technologies with educators from local school systems. At the Demo Fair, providers will make powerful connections with educators, administrators, and entrepreneurs of emerging and established companies in the K-12 industry. Make plans to attend the complete EIA Education Industry Days Summit that starts with a networking reception, Wednesday, February 18th and ends Friday, with the Demo Fair occuring in the middle of the conference.
Educators and school administrators are invited to get free, hands-on demonstrations of emerging education technology products and solutions for STEM, Literacy, Classroom Management, Administrator Tools, and Common Core. CEUs will also be available to educators who complete a pre-Fair course and supporting assignments. The Tech Fair will end with a great networking reception.
About The Event
It's all about collaboration! On February 19, 2015, educators and administrators are invited to get hands-on demonstrations of emerging edtech products created by education entrepreneurs.
Make powerful connections and learn from other educators, policy makers, and entrepreneurs of emerging and established education companies. It is all part of EIA's annual Education Industry Days Summit that starts with an opening reception on Wednesday February 18th and concludes Friday mid-morning.
This demo fair is FREE for educators and school administrators and is sponsored by the Education Industry Association in partnership with 1776. The event will be held at the Liaison Hotel in Washington, DC.

WHO
Teachers and administrators who are interested in learning more about education technology products and seeing models of blended learning, technology integration, and cutting edge solutions to instruction.

February 19, 2015, 2:30pm - 6:30pm with light refreshments and food starting at 5:30pm.
* A special one-hour workshop for teachers eligible for .5 CEU credit through the Johns Hopkins School of Education starts at 3:30pm
WHAT
Hands-on demonstrations of the latest education technology products and solutions and networking opportunities with other education professionals in the Washington, DC Metro area. Educators will have the opportunity to participate in the “Evaluating Education Technology Products” workshop and may earn .5 CEU through the Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
